EARLY ROOKWOOD EWER. Interesting early Rookwood ewer is decorated across its body with a spray of flowers and leaves in varying shades of blue. Design is done against a cream colored background. Marked on the underside with impressed anchor, initials “AH” and “Rookwood 1882”. SIZE: 6-3/4 in. t. CONDITION: Some encrusted material on mouth opening of ewer, tiny roughness to spout and small tight hairline to side of spout. 5-61216 (300-1,500)
