WHITE STAR LINE “OLYMPIC,” “TITANIC” STEAMSHIP LITHO. Rare illustration by Montague B. Black circa 1910 of the “Olympic,” with the “Titanic” in the distance. This poster, designed for White Star Offices, originally had a green border that read “White Star Line/Olympic 45,000 tons–Titanic 45,000 tons the Largest Steamers in the world.” It was overprinted or removed from remaining copies after the Titanic disaster. Lithographed by the Liverpool Printing & Stationery Company. SIZE: 45” w. x 35” h., in original marked frame. CONDITION: Very good to excellent.
