*VERY RARE BROWNING PIGEON GRADE SUPER LIGHT SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 1453V72. Spectacular lightweight Browning with 26-3/8″ vent rib bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL, narrow matted rib with sgl bead, ejectors & gold plated sgl selective trigger. Mounted with very nicely figured European walnut with checkered semi-schnable tipped forearm & straight stock, 14-1/2″ over a Browning black composition buttplate. Receiver is engraved in typical pigeon grade patterns of two flying pigeons on each side surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns. It has deep relief oak leaf & acorn patterns over top rear of receiver with other leaf patterns around front edge of top of receiver. Bottom of receiver has two clusters of flower blossoms. Forend iron is engraved to match. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Bore restrictions: top – .012, bottom – .008. Bore diameter: too – .609, bottom – .611. Weight: 5 lbs. 13.12 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Appears new, but is, in fact, a complete professional restoration, possibly by the factory or the factory representative. Main tell-tale is the brighter polish on the bbl lug and forend iron. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bores. 4-59109 (10,000-15,000)
