*CASED ENGRAVED KRIEGHOFF MONTE CARLO GRADE MODEL 32 4-BBL TARGET SET. Cal. 12 ga. SN 515. Early Krieghoff made in 1959 with one set of matching numbered 30” bbls (#1) choked FULL/IMP-MOD that have possibly been opened up slightly. They have a matted, ventilated rib with Raybar front sight & silver middle bead with ejectors & receiver fitted with a Miller sgl selective trigger. Bottom flat on bbl is dated “5 59”. Also accompanying is a set of 32” over/under bbls (#2) choked FULL/MOD with bottom bbl having been opened from FULL. Additionally accompanied by two over sgl bbls, both 32”, one choked MOD (#3) & the other choked IMP/CYL (#4). All have ventilated ribs with the three extra bbls having Bradley white ivory front beads & silver middle beads. Mounted with nicely figured, straight grain walnut with skip-line checkered beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock with Monte Carlo comb, 14” over a new Pachmayr White Line pad. Receiver is engraved in Germanic style, in great detail, with two silver bird dogs & three silver partridge on left side, two silver pheasants & two hares on right side with a silver flying duck on bottom. “KRIEGHOFF” & model “32” are also in silver on bottom. Accompanied by chocolate brown leather, brown velvet lined motor case, compartmented for all pieces & parts, built for this shotgun. It also has a canvas cover. #1 BBLS: Bore diameter: top – .735, bottom – .735. Bore restrictions: top – .037, bottom – .027. Wall thickness: top – .033, bottom – .037. #2 BBLS: Bore diameter: top – .734, bottom – .732. Bore restrictions: top – .035, bottom – .019. Wall thickness: top – .043, bottom – .038. #3 BBL: Bore diameter: .732. Bore restriction: .031. Wall thickness: .044. #4 BBL: Bore diameter: .733. Bore restriction: .022 at about 1-3/4” from muzzle, .013 at muzzle. Wall thickness: .043. Drop at back of comb: 1-5/8”, drop at front of comb: 1-3/8”. Weight with 30” bbls (#1): 8 lbs. 3.84 oz. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain 96-98% strong, bright, orig, factory blue with good mechanics & bright shiny bores. Receiver is slightly dulled on bottom & on trigger guard with good color on sides & over top. Stock has a small hairline back of top tang with a couple of dents & creases in forearm & overall retains most of a dark red applied finish. Mechanics are fine. Case is fine, one side of zipper is damaged. 4-60662 (6,000-10,000)
