*WONDERFUL WALTER KOLOUCH UPGRADE ENGRAVED KRIEGHOFF MODEL 32 4-BBL SKEET SET. Cal. 12 ga., 20 ga., 28 ga., 410. SN 9139. 1973 produced shotgun with four 28″ bbls choked SKEET/SKEET with ventilated ribs, Bradley white ivory front beads with metal middle beads, ejectors & sgl selective trigger. Receiver is spectacularly engraved with ten raised gold animals executed in tremendous detail consisting of three pheasants & a setter in a woodland scene on left side, three partridges & a pointer in a woodland scene on right side, a woodcock on bottom & a duck on trigger bow. Vignettes are all surrounded by exquisitely executed relief arabesque pattern engraving with gold wire borders & gold wire in patterns on bottom. Bottom of receiver has six platinum or silver oak leaves & trigger bow, two more. Sliding breech & opening lever combined have three more platinum or silver oak leaves. Engraving extends 2-1/4″ up bbls with gold wire worked into patterns on both sides. Calibers are in gold at breech end of ribs & top tang is signed “ENG. W. KOLOUCH / McMINNVILLE, ORE”. Mounted with extremely beautiful, feather crotch, sunburst, French walnut with ribbon & fleur-de-lis carved & checkered forearm & pistol grip stock, 13-3/4″ over a thin Pachmayr pad. Accompanied by its orig leather dbl sided motor case compartmented for stocked receiver & forend on one side & four bbls on other side. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-1/4″. Weight with 410 bbls: 8 lbs. 4.8 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, has been fired since engraving but very little. Metal retains virtually all of its crisp custom blue & wood virtually all of its custom varnish with a few small nicks & scratches & some chemical spotting down left side of buttstock. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores. Checkering has little or no hand grease indicating very little handling since finish. 4-56670 (12,500-17,500)
