*CASED PERAZZI CUSTOM ENGRAVED 4-BBL SKEET SET. Cal. 12, 20, 28 ga. & 410. SN 46735. Spectacular Angelo Bee engraved set with 27-1/2” bbls, all with Bradley white ivory beads & brass middle beads. It has ejectors, & single non-selective trigger. The 12 ga. bbls are ported. Mounted with spectacular, center feather crotch cut, exhibition quality, American walnut with four ribbon carved & checkered beavertail forearms & pistol grip stock, also ribbon carved & checkered, with rosewood grip cap, 14-3/4” over a Pachmayr White Line pad. Grip cap has a gold diamond inlay engraved “J.L. DOCKWILLER” on one edge & “GUNSMITHS” on other edge. Receiver is wonderfully engraved & gold inlaid, signed on left rear edge “ABEE 78”. Decoration consists of two highly detailed, raised gold woodcock & two demon birdheads on left side in 2-color gold with branches & leaves in background. Right side is nearly a mirror image with two raised gold grouse & bottom has two raised gold quail, also with two demon heads & a 2-color branch with leaves surrounded by gold wire scrolls. Bottom edges of receiver have raised gold leaf & branches and the trigger bow & opening lever have demon heads with raised gold decorative wire. Entire receiver has gold wire borders. Safety & top tang are engraved to match. Chamber area of bbls, sides of bbl reinforcements & forend iron have 2-color raised gold wire inlay. Accompanied by a red, ultra-suede lined, black leather, custom trunk case compartmented in bottom for all pieces & parts plus a Perazzi stock wrench & keys. CONDITION: Extremely fine, may have been fired after custom finish & re-wooding, but if so very little. It retains virtually all of its brilliant custom finish to both metal & wood. Stock work is magnificent with near perfect wood to metal fit. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bores. Case is equally fine. 4-59125 JR325 (12,500-17,500)
