*L.C. SMITH CROWN GRADE SINGLE BARREL TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN S19800C. Fine trap gun with 30-3/8” single bbl, choked MOD, with Simmons rib, Bradley white ivory front bead & ivory middle bead. Mounted with beautiful flame grain, American walnut with checkered semi-schnable tip beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock with checkered side panels, 14” over a Pachmayr trap pad & about an inch of spacers. Stock has a smooth, hard rubber grip cap. Receiver, trigger guard & forend cap are silver plated. Receiver & appended metal parts are beautifully engraved with two setters on left side and two pointers on right side, surrounded with extremely beautiful foliate & floral arabesque patterns with a gold inlaid crown on thumb lever pivot. Engraving extends about 1-5/8” over chamber area of bbl. Bore diameter: .730. Bore restriction: .010. Wall thickness: .038. Drop at heel: 2”, drop at comb: 1-5/8”. Weight: 8 lbs. 4.16 oz. CONDITION: Good to very good. Both metal & wood retain about all of a professionally restored finish. Bbl is slightly loose on hinge pin. Forearm has a bruise on left side and shows heavy wear.
