Fine Belgian made trap gun with 34-1/8” oct to rnd bbl choked IMP-MOD with flat, matted, ventilated rib, dbl ivory beads, dbl underbite & ejector. Right top flat is engraved “VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD” and left side “U.S. AGENTS NEW-YORK”. Mounted with nicely figured, French walnut with long checkered, heavy, beavertail forearm & Monte Carlo pistol grip stock, 14” over a Decelerator pad. Receiver is unengraved with maker’s name on each side. Bore diameter: .727. Bore restriction: .021. Wall thickness: .048. Drop at rear of comb: 2”. Drop at front of comb: 1-3/8”. Weight: 8 lbs. 2.88 oz. CONDITION: Bbl retains 95-96% strong restored blue & receiver 30-40% faded case colors with balance turned silver. Wood is sound with light handling & use marks, showing heavy wear and retains a fine oil finish. Ejector is soft & needs attention, otherwise mechanics are fine.
