LARGE LOT OF BOOKS RELATING TO FIREARMS, ARMAMENT, EDGED WEAPONS, AMERICAN MILITARY HISTORY, ETC. This is a very large lot of books (well over 100 in total) with more than 40 hard-bound books. Nearly all the books are on the subjects of firearms, edged weapons, military accoutrements, etc. A small sampling of the titles follows: “The American Sword 1775-1945” by Peterson, “American Knives” by Peterson, “Thoughts on the Kentucky Rifle in the Golden Age” by Kindig, “Boys’ Single Shot Rifles” by Grant, “U.S. Military Small Arms 1816-1865” by Reilly, “The Winchester Book” by Madis, and “The Pennsylvania-Kentucky Rifle” by Kauffman. Many of these books are considered by weapons collectors to be indispensable references. There are numerous specialized treatises as well, covering various aspects of Indian conflicts, Indian weapons, British weapons, etc, etc. Also included are numerous collecting guides, price guides, auction catalogs, and firearms-related periodicals.
