No. 1 NATIONAL CASH REGISTER. A very rare and desirable early cash register with elaborate filigree castings. Only a handful of this particular model are known to exist! There are eleven keys, ranging from 5 cents to $1. Serial number on brass plaque and on paper label under cash drawer is #32494. Two paper labels are somewhat intact on bottom of cash drawer. Mechanism is somewhat sticky and lacking one price amount (20 cent). SIZE: 16 1/2” w. x 16” d. x 17 1/2” t. CONDITION: Overall condition of the machine is very good, lacking a couple of locks and marquee on top. Appears to have paint touch up to price flags in upper window. JL 1-4600 (2,000-3,000)
