LOT OF 3 ANTIQUE DBL BBL SHOTGUNS. Cal. 12 ga. 1) L.C. Smith Field Grade. SN 1540. Very early Smith with 26” Damascus bbls, probably cut to this length, choked CYL/CYL. It has a finely matted rib, dbl triggers and ejectors, sliding button splinter forearm. CONDITION: Fair to good. Bbls as noted, retain 75 – 80% pattern, mostly turned silver. Receiver and lockplates have turned silver. Wood is worn with an amateur refinish and the buttplate is a deep dog’s head Parker. Very dark bores that may clean. Ejectors need attention. 2) G Grade Parker. SN 71944. 30” Damascus bbls, FULL/MOD, dbl triggers and extractors, splinter forearm and checkered stock with flat dog’s head buttplate. CONDITION: Dark and worn, engraving and checkering thin, pitted bore. 3) Batavia Leader. SN 98857. 32” Damascus bbls, FULL/FULL, side locks, dbl triggers and extractors, splinter forearm, semi-pistol grip stock with Baker buttplate. CONDITION: Fair. 65% Damascus pattern, engraved receiver, worn wood with a couple of minor cracks, moderately pitted bores. 4-52242 JR79 (500-1,000)
