*PARKER GHE GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 235944. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 26” Parker special steel bbls choked FULL/IMP-CYL with tapered, concave, matted rib, front bead missing, ivory middle bead, doll’s head rib extension, ejectors & Parker sgl selective trigger. Mounted with nicely figured, flame grain, American walnut with checkered beavertail forearm & pistol grip stock, 13-3/4” over an Old English pad. Receiver has typical “G” engraving with two flying ducks on left side, two quail on right side & two pheasants on floorplate with light foliate arabesque patterns & maker’s name on each side. Bore diameter: left – .730, right – .740. Bore restrictions: left – .029, right – .014. Wall thickness: left – .035, right – .023. Drop at heel: 2-3/4”, drop at comb: 1-9/16”. Weight: 7 lbs. 8 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, as completely restored. Bbls retain most of their bright restored blue, receiver about all of its Turnbull style brilliant case colors & trigger guard all of its restored blue. Wood is sound with a few light finish mars & retains all of its bright varnish. Bbls are a little loose on hinge pin. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores. 4-59030 JR554 (3,000-5,000)
