*PARKER DHE GRADE LIVE PIGEON DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 234421. Built on a scarce 1-1/2 frame with 32” Titanic Steel bbls choked FULL/MOD with orig ventilated rib, dbl ivory beads, doll’s head rib extension, ejectors & a Miller non-selective sgl trigger. It has had the safety removed or never was installed. Mounted with replacement, highly figured, center feather crotch cut, American walnut with wide, checkered beavertail forearm and Prince of Wales stock with raised teardrop side panels, 13-3/4” over a solid red pad marked “LONDON GUNS / SANTA BARBARA CA”. Receiver is engraved in typical D-patterns with a pointer on left side, a setter on right side and four pheasants on floorplate, surrounded by foliate arabesque patters with maker’s name in a ribbon on each side. The stippled Miller trigger apparently replaced a Parker sgl trigger. The top tang in the area of the safety is engraved. Bore diameter: left – .731, right – .731. Bore restrictions: left – .027, right – .019. Wall thickness: left – .029, right – .029. Drop at heel: 1-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-3/16”. Weight: 7 lbs. 14.72 oz. CONDITION: Very fine, as restored. All the metal & wood retain an extremely fine, professionally restored finish with strong bright bbl blue & brilliant case colors. Stock has a couple of spots of fill back of top tang, otherwise wood is sound and retains about all of its restored finish. Left bbl appears to have had a dent removed at about mid-point.
