SCARCE REMINGTON BEALS IRON FRAME SINGLE SHOT LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 32 RF. SN599. It has 28” oct to rnd bbl, sporting style folding rear sight, standard front sight. Blued finish, mounted in walnut stock with straight grip, steel buttplate. Rare iron frame is quite scarce, majority of production was brass frame. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl & frame retain most of a touched-up, restored finish. Stock has a hairline in back of the lower tang and a couple in back of the top tang and retains most of a restored finish. Mechanics are fine. Strong, dark bore with scattered pitting. 4-59360 JH14 (2,250-3,250)
