PARKER GH GRADE DAMASCUS DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 87000. Built on a scarce 1-1/2 frame with 28” damascus steel bbls choked CYL/IMP-MOD with tapered, concave, matted rib, sgl bead, doll’s head rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Mounted with very beautiful, fine grained, slab sawed American walnut with checkered, splinter forearm & capped pistol grip stock, 14-1/4” over a Parker dog’s head hard rubber buttplate. Receiver is engraved in typical G-patterns with two flying ducks on left side, two partridge on right side and two pheasants on floorplate with light arabesque patterns. Bore diameter: left – .733, right – .733. Bore restrictions: left – .000, right – .038. Wall thickness: left – .030, right – .030. Drop at heel: 2-7/8”, drop at comb: 1-5/8”. Weight: 7 lbs. 3.2 oz. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain most of their orig blue/brown Damascus pattern, somewhat thinned over forearm area. Apparently the choke in left bbl has been removed. Receiver retains about 75% faded orig case colors, stronger in sheltered areas with balance faded to silver. Wood is sound with minor handling & use marks and retains about all of a fine professional restoration. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores. It appears there was either a ring or a dent in left bbl that has been removed. 4-59240 JR463 (3,500-5,000)
