FORTUNA COIN-OPERATED MUSIC BOX. Ca. 1905, this fabulous wall-mount German upright double-comb coin-operated machine plays 19 1/2″ discs (of which 6 are included). It features turned side columns, glass front door, highlighted by delicate carved fretwork, and elaborate brass coin slot cover allowing for 50 cent play (2 quarters). Holes atop for marquee (not present). SIZE: 30″ w. x 37 1/2″ h. x 15 1/2″ d. CONDITION: Deep rich tone, no broken teeth, replaced glass, minor splits to case, which has been refinished, otherwise very good to near excellent. 1-4585 (7,000-10,000)
