*BERETTA MODEL 687 DU OVER-UNDER SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN DU91057712. Fine Italian made shotgun with 28” vent rib bbls, 3” chambers, removable chokes with electroless nickel receiver and side plates. The receiver and side plates are etched engraved with ducks, partridge and quail and arabesque patterns. The left sideplate is also engraved “DUCKS UNLIMITED” and the right sideplate “MAASS”, apparently for the artist David Maass. It is fitted with highly figured shell grain walnut wood with checkered semi-beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock 14 5/8” over a leather faced pad. It has single selective triggers and ejectors. It still has the original orange Beretta safety tag in the triggerguard. CONDITION: As new. Appears to be unfired retaining virtually all its original factory finish to both metal and wood with one or two minor handling and storage marks. 4-52367 JR157 (500-1,500)
