RARE SWISS MUSIC BOX W/ CHINESE DECORATION. Believed to be the only one known, this 13 1/2″ cylinder, single comb box is in a reddish/orange case with gilt highlights, carved with an outdoor Chinese court scene in relief on the lid and relief floral decorations on sides. SIZE: 27″ w. x 6″ h. x 9 1/4″ d. CONDITION: Some horizontal splits to lid, areas of paint touch up, and replaced brass front knobs, otherwise very good with nice rich tone. 1-4591 (2,500-4,000)
