*WONDERFUL ANGELO BEE UPGRADE PARKER VH GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 151542. Gorgeous little Parker with 28” Vulcan Steel bbls choked FULL/MOD with tapered, concave, matted rib with sgl bead, doll’s head rib extension, extractor & gold plated dbl triggers. Mounted in extremely beautiful, honey & chocolate, streaky, Circassian walnut with checkered beavertail forearm & straight stock, 14-5/8” over a checkered butt. It has a blank gold initial oval on bottom. Trigger guard is extended from a pistol grip style. Receiver & all appended metal are spectacularly engraved by master engraver, Angelo Bee with three raised gold flying quail on left side, three raised gold dove on right side & two raised gold mallards on bottom, all in very highly detailed background scenes & completely surrounded by extremely well executed foliate arabesque patterns. Fences have 3-color gold leaves & flowers with raised engraved daisy blossoms surrounding. Thumb lever is pierce-carved with a flying bird on both sides. Trigger guard is beautifully sculpted with foliate arabesque patterns and has a raised gold flying quail. All foliate arabesque patterns have a fine punch dot background. Engraving extends 3” up over chambers and has a raised gold quail on left side and a raised gold dove on right side with a thin gold band at breech end. Muzzles also have a thin gold band and about 1-1/4” of engraving. A most beautiful & well executed upgrade. Bore diameter: left – .571, right – .570. Bore restrictions: left – .027, right – .019. Unable to gauge wall thickness. Drop at heel: 2”, drop at comb: 1-1/4”. Weight: 6 lbs. 9.92 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain about all of their beautiful restored blue & receiver virtually all of its custom bright metal finish. Wood is sound and retains all of its custom finish.
