*PARKER DH GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 152359. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 28-1/8” bbls choked FULL/MOD with tapered, concave, matted rib, sgl bead, doll’s head rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Mounted with very beautiful, tiger-striped, American walnut with checkered, splinter forearm & straight stock with teardrop side panels, 14-1/2” over a Pachmayr waffle pad. Receiver is engraved in typical “D” patterns with a pointer on left side, setter on right side & four ducks on floorplate, surrounded with foliate arabesque patterns & maker’s name in a ribbon on each side. Unfortunately this poor shotgun was immersed in or very near salt water for most of its life as it is moderately to severely pitted all over & has been wire wheel cleaned. Bore diameter: left – .735, right – .733. Bore restrictions: left – .040, right – .022. Wall thickness: left – .019, right – .012. Drop at heel: 2-5/8”, drop at comb: 1-3/8”. Weight: 6 lbs. 15.04 oz. CONDITION: Poor to fair. Right bbl appears to be out of proof with several dents having been removed. No orig finish remains as previously noted, with artificially aged bbls with some deep pitting under forearm. Receiver & trigger guard are bright metal. Wood is sound showing heavy wear with dark oil staining on forearm & about 1/3 of stock. Mechanics are fine, bright cleaned bores with a few spots in left bbl & several spots of pitting in right bbl.
