*PARKER DH GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 217298. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 28” Titanic Steel bbls choked FULL/MOD with tapered, concave, matted rib, dbl ivory beads, doll’s head rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Mounted with nicely figured, flame grain, American walnut with full checkered & fleur-de-lis carved replacement beavertail forearm & orig checkered, capped pistol grip buttstock with checkered, raised teardrop side panels, 14” over a solid Noshoc pad. Receiver is engraved in typical “D” patterns with a pointer on left side, a setter on right side & four pheasant on floorplate, all surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns & maker’s name in a ribbon on each side. Bore diameter: left – .732, right – .732. Bore restrictions: left – .030, right – .016. Wall thickness: left – .029, right – .027. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-5/8”. Weight: 7 lbs. 3.2 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain about all of a beautifully restored finish. Receiver retains 30-35% orig case colors, mostly on sides & sheltered areas, with balance turned silver. Wood is sound & retains about all of a fine professionally restored finish. Water table has an unusual stippled finish, obviously not factory.
