*PARKER DHE GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 198999. Built on a No. 2 frame with 32” Titanic Steel bbls with 2-5/8” chambers, choked FULL/FULL with tapered concave matted rib, sgl bead, and doll’s head rib extension, ejectors & dbl triggers. Bottom of bbls have a small, English style, sling loop with a corresponding stud & loop in buttstock. Mounted with very nicely figured, streaky, French walnut with checkered splinter forearm & pistol grip stock with raised teardrop side panels, 14-1/4” over a checkered skeleton buttplate. Receiver is engraved in typical D-patterns with a pointer on left side, a setter on right side & four flying ducks on floorplate. Bore diameter: left – .729, right – .730. Bore restrictions: left – .033, right – .033. Wall thickness: left – .037, right – .030. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-1/2”. Weight: 8 lbs. 3.84 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 75-80% strong, bright, orig blue with area over frame & part of forearm a thin blue patina. There are a couple of spots of pitting & a couple of light scrapes. Receiver retains case colors in the very sheltered areas with balance a silver patina. Wood is sound with light to moderate handling & use marks with a scratch & a ding or two and retains about 90% orig varnish, dull on forearm.
