*PARKER VH DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 217395. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 28″ bbls, choked MOD/IMP CYL with tapered matted rib and dbl ivory beads. It has dolls head rib extension with the maker’s name and address and “Vulcan Steel” near the chamber end. The receiver has simple border engraving with the maker’s name on each side and has extractors with single selective trigger. The wood is straight grain walnut with checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock, 14″ over a shallow dog’s head Parker buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine, the bbls retain 97-98% strong bright original blue. The receiver retains 20-25% dark case colors, strong and bright in the sheltered areas with the balance turned silver. The trigger guard has been cleaned. The wood is sound with usual handling and storage marks and retains most of a very good professionally restored finish. Mechanics are tight, bores are bright and shiny with some fine pitting toward the muzzle end of both bbls. Ciak Collection 4-53228 JR754 (800-1,200)
