FORREST KING MOSES (American, 1893-1974) “BRING IN THE SAP”. Oil on masonite winter scene shows a large maple sugaring house and farmhouse in Vermont type landscape with hills in background. Men carry sap buckets to oxen pulled sap cart. Man is seen tending sap operation in building. Signed “Forrest K Moses”. Housed in a silver gilt molded wood frame with liner. Back has original artist label with title, date (March 1964) and No. 257. Also a Polaroid photo of the painting on an easel dated September 67. SIGHT SIZE: 15-1/2” x 23-1/2”.
