*WINCHESTER MODEL 21 DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 16650. Good Winchester field gun with 30″ bbls, choked MOD/IMP-CYL. It has tapered concave matted rib with single silver bead. The receiver is unmarked with stepped sides. It has dbl triggers & extractors. The wood is very nicely figured American walnut with checkered splinter forearm and semi-pistol grip stock, 14″ over a Winchester embossed hard rubber buttplate. Drop at the heel 2-1/2”, drop at the comb 1-7/16”. Weight 7 lbs, 3.6 oz. CONDITION: Very good. Bbls retain about 85-90% original blue showing wear and light thinning over the carry point. Receiver retains about 25% thin original blue with the balance a silver/gray patina. Stock has a replaced chip on the toe with a corresponding chipped toe on the buttplate. Otherwise the wood is sound showing light handling & use nicks & scratches with moderate wear to the checkering and retains about 80% original oil finish. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores.
