PAIR OF DECORATED ROYAL DOULTON VASES. Tall vases having a tapered body decorated with blue flower forms with other smaller white flowers having gilt highlights. Rim in dark cobalt blue with gold trim and mottled brown interior. Bases have impressed Royal Doulton mark with lion and crown. Impressed “1074”. Also impressed “Doulton Slater Patent” and black paint written “X5823”. Also having artist initials in script. Each has been drilled for lamp bases. PROVENANCE: Fine Bangor, Maine mansion. SIZE: 15-1/2” h x 6-3/4” dia. rim. CONDITION: Very good. 9-74225 SM (250-400)
