*SCARCE CASED BROWNING CONTINENTAL 2-BBL SET. Cal. 30-06/30-06 and 20 ga./20 ga. SN 177PM01041. Scarce set with 24″ superposed rifle bbls that have a ramp front sight and added quarter rib with 2-leaf express sights marked “50” and “100” with “EAW” quick detachable scope rings containing a Leupold VariX-II compact 2-7X scope with duplex crosshairs. The shotgun bbls are 26-1/2″ with ventilated rib choked FULL/MOD. The receiver has Grade I style engraving with a few extra flourishes and it has ejectors with single selective trigger. The wood is nicely figured walnut with tiger striping in the buttstock. The forearms have semi-schnable tips and it has a straight grip 14-3/4″ over a solid red Pachmayr pad. It is accompanied by a tan Browning round corner 3-bbl case which also contains the scope and a full box of Winchester 150 grain Silvertip ammunition. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Metal retains virtually all of its fine original blue with very faint edge wear on the receiver. Wood is sound with a few light nicks & scratches and retains a fine custom oil finish.
