IVES 1912 COAL WAGON. A red wagon embossed with “COAL” in gold highlighting on black enameled spoke wheels is ridden by a black youth. Original tin Ives tag on side of wagon reads “IVES No0,” and this tag was only used in the 1912 series of toys. Also has an unusual side opening yoke exclusive to Ives toys that allows for removal of mule, which was japanned in black. SIZE 10 1/2”. CONDITION: Overall excellent condition, some wear to figure.
