CARVED & GILT DOUBLE EAGLE. Fantastic carved wooden double eagle is perched upon a large wooden ball and has a small shelf attached to the back. Ball has a large hole drilled as if it were a flagpole top. The entire piece has been finished with gold leaf. SIZE: 24” t x 23” w. CONDITION: Wear to gilding, one wing appears to have been repaired, otherwise very good. 5-71281 (3,000-5,000)
