Beautiful light weight superposed Browning with 26-3/8″ vent rib bbls choked MOD/IMP CYL with narrow matted rib and single bead. Lambert in typical Diana patterns, consisting of vignettes of five pheasant in a woodland scene on the left side, four ducks in a marsh scene on the right side, two flying quail on the bottom and two rabbits on the trigger bow. These vignettes are all surrounded by extremely fine foliate & arabesque pattern engraving. The top of the receiver and part of the opening lever have very fine stippling. The long lower tang is engraved to match as is the bottom of the bbl lugs and forend iron. It has gold single selective trigger & ejectors. Accompanied by an original Browning round corner trunk case and owner’s booklet. CONDITION: Extremely fine, as new, may have been fired but if so, very little. It retains virtually all of its fine factory finish to both metal & wood with a few very minor nicks on the stock and no discernable flaws on the metal, just some minor scrapes on the sides of the bbl lugs. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bores. Case is equally new. 4-52368 JR905 (6,000-8,000)
