*PARKER DH GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 219278. Built on an “O” frame with 28” Titanic Steel bbls, choked FULL/MOD with tapered, matted, concave rib, sgl bead, doll’s head extension, extractor & Parker sgl trigger. Mounted with very nicely figured, checkered, American walnut with splinter forearm & straight stock with raised teardrop side panels, 15” over checkered butt. Buttstock appears to be an old factory replacement as the serial number does not appear inside bottom tang channel & trigger guard has serial number “236929” on inside, but has the proper serial number on outside in smaller letters & upside down. Stock has a blank silver initial plate on bottom secured with six silver pins. Receiver has usual D-grade engraving consisting of a pointer on left side, a setter on right side & four pheasants on bottom, surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns with maker’s name in a ribbon on both sides. Bore diameter: left – .618, right – .621. Bore restrictions: left – .026, right – .018. Wall thickness: left – .025, right – .023. Drop at heel: 2”, drop at comb: 1-7/16”. Weight: 6 lbs. 3.2 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain 85-90% orig blue, thin over forearm area, with scattered spots of light surface pitting. Receiver has traces of case colors in sheltered areas, being mostly a mottled, silver/brown patina. Wood is sound showing light to moderate wear with a few scratches & a ding or two and retains generous amounts of orig finish with some cleaned mildew spotting on buttstock.
