*HUBERTUS SIDELOCK DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 790139. Fine full sidelock dbl with 26-3/4″ bbls, choked FULL/MOD with high tapered matted concave solid rib with single ivory bead, dbl lumps and rib extension with Greener crossbolt. It has dbl triggers and ejectors. The receiver is Merkel style with reinforced fences & receiver edges and side clips. The lockplates have cocked indicators. The receiver and lockplates have full coverage arabesque pattern scroll engraving with the opening lever, top tang, trigger guard, forend iron and about 2-1/4″ over the bbls engraved to match. It is mounted in nicely figured French walnut with checkered splinter forearm and straight stock, 14-3/4″ over a thin black Old English pad. The bbl flats are dated “11-85” and the choke markings are “1/1” and “1/2”. The stock & bbls have sling swivels. Drop at the heel 2-1/2”, drop at the comb 1-7/16”. Weight 6 lbs, 11.9 oz. CONDITION: Extremely fine, near new, may have been fired but if so, very little. Bbls retain virtually all of their fine original blue and the receiver and lockplates retain virtually all of their factory original coin finish. Wood is sound with one or two small handling & storage nicks and retains about all of its fine oil finish with some slight thinning around the pad.
