*PARKER VHE GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 235751. Built on a “OO” frame with 28” Vulcan Steel bbls choked FULL/MOD with tapered concave, matted rib, sgl bead, doll’s head rib extension, ejectors & a Miller sgl selective trigger. Selector switch is built into safety. Water table has lightning cuts. Mounted with straight grain American walnut with checkered, splinter forearm & capped pistol grip stock, 13-1/2” over a collapsed, Hawkins pad. Receiver has light border decorations. Bore diameter: left – .550, right – .553. Bore restrictions: left – .026, right – .017. Unable to gauge wall thickness. Drop at heel: 2-5/8”, drop at comb: 1-1/2”. Weight: 5 lbs. 14.72 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 92-94% strong orig blue, somewhat thin on sides over forearm area and with light muzzle edge wear. Receiver retains 60-70% bright case colors on sides and in sheltered areas with bottom front and most of front sides turning silver. Stock has a hairline back of top tang, otherwise wood is sound with a scratch in forearm and light handling & use marks elsewhere and retains most of an old restored finish. Pad appears to have been amateur installed with cross grain sand marks at butt edge. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores in need of cleaning. 4-59266 JR696 (10,000-15,000)
