RARE PARKER GH GRADE DAMASCUS DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 8 ga. SN 96344. Built on a No. 6 frame with 38” fine Damascus steel bbls with tapered, concave, matted rib, sgl bead, doll’s head rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Mounted with very highly figured, burl & shell grain, checkered, American walnut with splinter forearm & pistol grip stock with raised side panels, 14” over a Parker dog’s head hard rubber buttplate. Unable to gauge Bore diameter, bore restrictions or wall thickness. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-3/8”. Weight: 15 lbs. 3.52 oz. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain virtually all of their professionally restored blue/gray Damascus pattern. Receiver retains 50-60% orig case colors, mostly faded, turned to dark patina on bottom. Trigger guard is a blue/brown to silver patina. Wood is sound with light handling & use marks and a couple of dings on buttstock and overall retains most of a very old professionally restored finish.
