CARVED WALNUT ROOM SCREEN. This fabulous room screen has three sections. Each identical section having central panel with pierce carved dragons and winged lion mask. C-scrolls and flowers elsewhere. The top solid panel has lion mask with foliate and flowers. The frame decorated with serpent scrolled leaves and mask head. The top crest having carved facing crowned eagle finials and central lion mask with foliate scroll. The two end pieces have a lion carved at very edge. Back side has simple low relief carving of similar design. SIZE: 69” h x approximately 72” l. CONDITION: Some breaks in central panel, one plaster eagle replacement finial is detached but present.
