*PARKER DHE DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. SN 224365. Built on a 1-1/2 frame with 32″ bbls that have an opriginal matted, tapered raised Parker ventilated rib with dbl ivory beads and the makers name and address on top. The rib is also marked “Titanic Steel”. It has dbl triggers and ejectors. The receiver is engraved with usual D-grade patterns of a pointer on the left side, a setter on the right side and four pheasant on the floor plate, all surrounded by foliate arabesque patterns. The company name is in a ribbon on both sides. It has geometric patterns around the hinge pin recess and behind the fences. The wood is modestly grained American walnut with nicely checkered beavertail forearm and straight stock 14-1/2″ over a Decelerator pad. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain 96-98% of a fine professional re-blacking. Receiver retains 25-30% fading case colors with the balance turned silver. Forearm has a crack and a small repair, otherwise the wood is sound and retains most of an old refinish. Mechanics are fine, brilliant shiny bores. 4-53670 JR999 (3,500-5,000)
