TIFFANY STUDIOS RED TURTLEBACK PAPERWEIGHT. Very rare Tiffany paperweight has red turtleback mounted in a bronze frame with four applied bronze feet. The turtleback is finished with a swirling gold iridescence and is marked on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 935”. Paperweight is also engraved on the underside “Irving Smith W. H. L., Jr. M. G. L. and W. H. L. III T.G.L. 1936″. Bronze frame is finished in rich brown patina with strong green highlights. SIZE: 4-3/4″ x 6”. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-67873 (5,000-7,000)
