PAIR OF SEVRES HAND PAINTED GARNITURE VASES WITH GILT-METAL-MOUNTED HANDLES AND BASES. Late 19th/early 20th Century. Each vase with a romantic scene depicting young maidens served by putti in a pastoral scene. The reverse depicting classical ruins. With gilt-heightened scrolling decoration on the bases, having scrolling mask handles raised on square brass plinths with in-curved corners with beaded and carved leaftip edges. The underside marked with the Sevres cipher, absent date and artist marking, “France” in blue print. SIZE: 15-3/4”h.
