*FINE HIGH GRADE DUMOULIN ROUND ACTION SIDELOCK DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 79478. Fine Belgian made double with 27-5/8” Boehler Steel bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with tapered, concave, hand matted rib, with sgl bead, ejectors, third fastener, dbl underbites & a Jurjevic non-selective sgl trigger. Mounted with highly figured French walnut with checkered, splinter forearm & straight stock, 13-1/2” over a skip-line, checkered butt. The actual LOP should probably be about 14-1/4” as the Jurjevic trigger sets very far to rear of trigger guard. Receiver & lockplates are spectacularly engraved with sprays of foliate & floral decorations surrounded by 100% coverage, very fine arabesque patterns. Fences are deep relief engraved with sprays of flowers & leaves. Entire bottom of receiver & trigger plate are covered with sprays of flowers & leaves as is trigger bow. Maker’s name is in a flowing ribbon on each lockplate. Engraver’s signature “A. ROUFFIN” is on right side of trigger plate. Bore diameter: left – .724, right – .724. Bore restrictions: left – .019, right – .007. Wall thickness: left – .038, right – .035. Drop at heel: 2”, drop at comb: 1-1/4”. Weight: 6 lbs. 11.2 oz. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine. Bbls retain 98-99% strong, bright, orig factory blue & receiver & lockplates about all of their orig coin finish. Trigger guard retains virtually all of its orig blue with some thinning on lower tang. Stock has a hairline back of right lockplate, otherwise wood is sound and retains about all of its bright, orig, factory finish with a minor handling mark or two.
