LOT OF FOUR LIONEL LARGE STANDARD GAUGE EARLY FREIGHT CARS. These early cars can be difficult to find and would make a nice addition to a collection. (1) #4351 Caboose is lettered “NYC & HRRR,” painted dark maroon on sides and cupola, with black roof, stamped #17 on bottom. (2) Boxcar lettered “CM & STP,” “98237,” on all four side panels, painted bright orange. (3) Dump car lettered “PENNSYLVANIA,” “65784,” painted in dark green with maroon trim and frame, stamped #16 on end panel. (4) Gondola car stamped on bottom #12 lettered “LAKE SHORE,” “65784,” in dark gray with dark green on sides. CONDITION: Caboose has minor scratches, minimal paint loss, overall very pleasing looking in good condition. Boxcar has very minor chips to paint, but a nice early car in good condition with a great presence. Dump car has very minimal scratching, and this car is difficult to find in such good condition. Gondola car is missing one brake wheel, some scratches and chips, but still a complete and intact car with nice paint. EC 1-4384 (375-550)
