FINE CHINESE IVORY SCRIMSHAWED BRUSH POT, PROBABLY LATE 18TH CENTURY. Depicting a mountainous landscape with birds in flight, the reverse with Chinese characters, the base segmented and detachable. SIZE: 3-3/4”h, 3-3/4” dia. CONDITION: Very find overall with nice patina, base rim has an old 1/2” elliptic chip. 9-90403 MD (2,000-3,000)
