FINE BRONZE FIGURAL INKWELL. Oval inkwell has a scene of a monkey headed cobbler seated working on a shoe with his cobbler’s implements and wares scattered on the ground below. A basket with sloping hinged lid is beside him which opens to reveal a glass inkwell. Behind him is a removable spike with banner attached “Penpergre Javelier en Pied Ducht Botte”. Piece appears to be a cigar stamper or wax seal. SIZE: 5-1/4” h x 6-1/4” x 4”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-71256 (800-1,200)
