*SCARCE PARKER GH GRADE DAMASCUS DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 28 ga. SN 103428. Built on an “O” frame with 26” Damascus steel bbls choked FULL/IMP-CYL with tapered, concave, matted rib, sgl bead, doll’s head rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Mounted with straight grain, American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & rnd knob, pistol grip stock, 14” over a Parker dogs head buttplate. This shotgun is shown in an article in the Autumn 2004 issue of Double Gun Journal. Bore diameter: left – .550, right – 551. Bore restrictions: left – .037, right – .008. Unable to gauge wall thickness. Drop at heel: 2-1/2”, drop at comb: 1-1/2”. Weight: 5 lbs. 14.08 oz. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain most of their plum brown restored finish and Damascus pattern with some thinning over forearm area. Receiver retains 25-30% faded orig case colors with balance turned silver. Stock has a couple of tiny hairlines, back of top tang, otherwise wood is sound with normal handling & use marks and retains most of its orig factory varnish with small chip on toe of buttplate and a couple of small chips on edges. Mechanics are fine, bright shiny bores with a ding in left bbl and some light pitting in right bore. 4-59226 JR684 (7,000-12,000)
