EMANUEL VILLANIS (French, 1880-1920) “CIRCE”. Fine bronze sculpture of the Greek Goddess Circe who was daughter of the sun. She holds a lyre in one hand and the other is out at her side. Nicely mottled in a medium brown patina. Signed on the stepped square base and on the back there is a round foundry mark “Vrai Bronze Grainti Paris”. SIZE: 27” h x 8” sq base.
