*CASED ENGRAVED REMINGTON MODEL 32 OVER/UNDER TRAP GUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 890. Spectacular old trap gun with 30″ solid rib bbls, choked FULL/IMP MOD with single silver bead. It is mounted in spectacular honey & chocolate sun burst pattern French walnut stock & forearm with extensive fleur-de-lis checkering, 14-1/2″ over a brown, Pachmayr waffle trap pad. The grip cap is rosewood with a gold diamond inlay bearing the initials “SJ”. It has a Miller single selective trigger and ejectors. The receiver is beautifully and simply engraved, artist signed “Kaye” and has a beautifully detailed raised gold pointer on the left side, a raised gold setter on the right side and a retriever holding a dead duck on the bottom. All three vignettes have light interior detail with surrounding foliate arabesque patterns. The serial number on the bottom is also inlaid in gold. Accompanied by a green canvas and maroon leather, green ultra suede lined trunk case with a Safari Outfitters’ label in the lid. CONDITION: Extremely fine, the bbls retain 96-98% strong bright original blue. The receiver & wood retain most of their fine custom finish with a few very scattered nicks in the wood.
