REMINGTON #2 ROLLING BLOCK BREECH LOADING SINGLE BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN 253. Standard #2 Rolling Block shotgun made up from left over military Rolling Block contract rifle parts. It has standard military buttplate, 32” plain steel bbl, standard military walnut stock & forearm. This shotgun is pictured on p. 252 of Guns of Remington, Madus. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl retains 95-96% strong, bright, orig blue with freckles of light surface rust. Receiver retains most of its orig brilliant case colors with orig lacquer coating. Wood is sound and retains virtually all of its orig factory finish. Mechanics are crisp, strong bore with moderate pitting. 4-59426 JH4 (1,500-2,500)
