*PARKER AH GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 16 ga. SN 96699. Built on a No. 1 frame with 26” Acme Steel bbls, choked MOD/CYL with tapered, concave, matted rib, dbl ivory beads, doll’s head rib extension, extractor and dbl triggers. Mounted with replacement, very highly figured, marble cake, honey & chocolate, French or Circassian walnut with checkered, splinter forearm & straight stock with raised fleur-de-lis checkered side panels & straight stock, 13-3/4” over a checkered hard rubber buttplate. Receiver is very beautifully engraved with two pointers on left side with three flying ducks on forward section. Right side has two setters with three partridge on forward section. Floorplate has a standing bull elk & three cows with five pheasants on forward end. Trigger guard has a running deer. Left fence has the head of a chamois and the right fence has a doe deer’s head. Scenes are all surrounded by extremely fine, well-executed, foliate arabesque patterns with maker’s name in a ribbon on each side. All appended metal is engraved to match. Bore diameter: left – .668, right – .667. Bore restrictions: left – .011, right – .004. Wall thickness: left – .024, right – .026. Drop at heel: 2-5/8”, drop at comb: 1-1/2”. Weight: 6 lbs. 8.32 oz. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbls retain virtually all of a professionally restored finish with bbl address re-engraved. Receiver retains 75-80% faded case colors with balance turned silver.
