BRONZE FIGURAL LIGHT AFTER ROUSSEAU. The figural scene shows a shirtless blacksmith at his bellows with a hammer and anvil on stump. His hand is moving a bellows which fans the fire below. A light hangs from the top hood. All mounted on a shaped marble base. There is a plaque on the edge “La Veillee Du Forgeron Par Rousseau (Sculptr)”. Bronze is electrified with a cord and switch. Light bulb is present but does not work. SIZE: 18-1/2” h x 9” w x 7” d. CONDITION: Very good, one side of marble base is missing outer trim edge. 9-71618 (1,500-2,500)
