LOT OF TWO AMERICAN FLYER STANDARD GAUGE LOCOMOTIVE AND TENDER. American Flyer made some of the nicest and realistic locomotives sets in the industry, and this is a great example. Steam-type die-cast locomotive with Vanderbilt-type tender. Both are painted a very nice black with light green trim on catwalk, orange on boiler, brass and copper throughout. CONDITION: Missing bell, drive wheels are fatigued, chips and scratches on tender; drive rods are all complete and intact, which is very unusual for a toy of this type; overall paint is good on the tender and very good on the engine.
