CHRISTOPHE FRATIN (French, 1801-1864) A PAIR OF SETTERS. Fine antique bronze sculpture of two dogs, side by side, one with head and tail up, the other with head and tail down. Both having collars with attached chains. Signed amongst the naturalistic base “Fratin”. Side of the base marked with a round foundry seal “Thiebaut Frere Foundeurs Paris”. Nice dark brown patina. SIZE: 8″ h x 13-1/2″ l x 6″ w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-95296 (3,500-4,500)
